Health and safety

The Society for Muscle Biology is monitoring the changing nature of the pandemic and updates on COVID-19  from the WHO. We will update this page as necessary with new guidelines and measures to protect the conference attendees and the community that will host us. We will inform participants about any substantial changes to this document that come after they register.

The Society of Muscle Biology will, as a minimum, comply with Canadian regulations at the time of the event. We will promptly communicate guidelines and policies regarding health and safety to the participants and enforce them during the conference.

By registering and attending to the Conference you abide to:

· refraining from coming to the event, or leaving promptly if you test positive for, or develop symptoms associated with COVID-19;

· complying with the prevailing mask-wearing policy communicated at the event;

· following instructions on physical distancing and crowd circulation at the event;

· observing good hand-washing and hygiene etiquette.
